WHOLE FAMILY WELLNESS @ ROYAL FIT

Our goal this fall is to expand Royal Fitness into a comprehensive wellness center where your entire family can find enjoyment and personal growth. We are thrilled to announce that we have extended the hours for our Youth Center at Royal Fitness! Our Youth Center will now be offering childcare on Monday and Tuesday evenings from 4:15pm to 8pm, in addition to our existing morning hours. This expansion allows you more flexibility to pursue your fitness goals while ensuring your child is well taken care of.


For kids ages 13-18 we are offering two different training sessions under our Sports Performance Program. On Sundays Coach Tim works on Speed and Agility with the athletes from 11:30am-12:30pm. On Mondays from 3:30pm- 5pm and Wednesdays from 10:30am- 12pm they work on Strength and Conditioning on the weight floor.


Our Babysitter Club is a certification program where young caregivers learn how to take care of themselves while they care for children. Jessi teaches about basic babysitting, positive reinforcement, communication, CPR and First Aid, mindful caregiving and self defense. The next Babysitter Club will launch in September and enrollment is open!

PILATES & BARBELL STRENGTH

This class packs a punch with 20 minutes of classical mat pilates to align the spine and challenge your core. Then, using that

alignment, 20 minutes of strengthening movement using a barbell. It's the best of both worlds!


With a professional ballet background, Emily-Erin Roeber transitioned to teaching group fitness 6 years ago. She holds certifications for barre, cycle, pilates, and pre/postnatal fitness.

Emily believes movement should make you stronger, more balanced, and more confident! "If it doesn't make you feel those things, find something that does! Royal offers something for everyone! "

KIDS SWIM CLINIC COMING BACK THIS FALL!

We are offering an 8 week group swim program to keep kids moving in the off season! This program is for kids ages 7 and up who are comfortable swimming several laps.


The program will be run by Royal Fitness Swim Coaches. Each time we meet we will be focusing on swim form and strength in the pool for half of the time and then dry land exercises and activities for the other half. It will be a blast and a great way for kids to have fun and stay in top condition!


We offer the option of enrolling your child in 1 or 2 sessions per week. Members can enroll on the Royal Fitness app under Kids Programs. Please contact our Aquatic Director Janis at swim@royalfit.com with any questions. Non members welcome, email membersupport@royalfit.com to enroll.

What brought you to Royal?

I went to Rehab next door after a car accident. For 6 months I couldn't even sit up. After therapy I joined Royal for the aqua classes. On average, I have been taking 3 aqua classes per week. A few years later I had a hip injury & went to rehab and always came back to Royal. I've met a lot of new friends and once in

awhile we go to lunch together.


What is your secret to longevity?

Staying consistent with my routine--always wake up & eat breakfast, workout at the gym, eat lunch. Afternoons are spent in the garden, running errands, cleaning, reading & puzzles.


Family Life?

I have 4 children, 6 grandchildren, 10 great- grandchildren. I have instilled the importance of exercise to them all early on & now they live very active lifestyles.


Why Royal?

Convenience, pool, & social interactions--the gym is my outlet.
